THE POSITION

We are seeking a proactive and organized Junior Project Lead to join our team. In this role, you'll work closely with senior project leads, engineers, and clients to support and lead IT projects of varying scopes. This entry-level position is ideal for someone eager to learn the ins and outs of project administration in the MSP environment, with opportunities to grow within the company. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist senior project leads in planning, coordinating, and executing IT projects, including system upgrades, network installations, and migrations.
  • Develop project timelines, track milestones, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients, directing communication and addressing questions or concerns promptly.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to allocate resources, track deliverables, and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project analysis.
  • Support the administration of budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Identify and escalate potential risks or roadblocks to senior project leads.
  • Contribute to process improvements by assisting in the development and implementation of best practices within the MSP framework.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 1+ year of experience with leading or coordinating project type role, ideally in an MSP or IT-related environment (internship experience considered).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Customer-oriented, with a commitment to providing high-quality service and building positive relationships.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, especially in fast-paced, high-pressure situations
NICE-TO-HAVES
  • Experience working with MSP-specific software, such as ConnectWise or Autotask.
  • Basic technical knowledge of networking, cloud services, and/or cybersecurity.
