Our client, an investment firm that works to provide investment solutions for their own clients, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Jr. Paralegal / Administrative Assistant to support their General Counsel, Deputy General Counsel, and Risk & Compliance Director. This role is ideal for someone with a strong administrative background and an interest in legal operations. You will be responsible for managing legal documents, assisting with compliance matters, and ensuring seamless administrative support for the legal team.


This is a hybrid, temp position with a possibility for extension in San Francisco. Pay will be $30-40/hr


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting, formatting, and finalizing legal documents, including board consents, contracts, and presentations.
  • Maintain and organize legal files, ensuring proper documentation and version control.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations and reports for internal and external meetings.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics for legal team activities.
  • Conduct basic legal research and assist with compliance tracking as needed.
  • Support corporate governance activities, including the preparation and review of board materials.
  • Ensure accuracy in Word documents, including proper formatting, redlining, and edits.
  • Assist with special projects and administrative tasks to enhance the efficiency of the legal department.

What We're Looking For:

  • 1-3 years of experience in an administrative or paralegal role, preferably within a legal or corporate environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (formatting, document management, and presentations).
  • Familiarity with board consents, legal documentation, and corporate governance.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • A proactive and team-oriented mindset with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
