There is no challenge we can't turn into an opportunity. Job Description: The Full Stack Engineer will support the maintenance, integration, deployment, and sustainment of maritime systems software. This role involves adaptive and perfective software maintenance using DevSecOps methodologies in an Agile environment. You will perform software requirements analysis, development, debugging, documentation, and participate in testing and peer reviews while ensuring compliance with system performance expectations. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and maintain software for maritime systems in both front-end and back-end environments.
Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software systems.
Participate in software design and peer code reviews.
Develop software documentation, identify dependencies, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Apply best practices for software development within DevSecOps and Agile frameworks.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline and 4 years of experience, OR a Master's degree with 2 years of experience, OR 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree
Active Top Secret security clearance, with ability to obtain SCI post hire
Experience in software development or integration projects in cloud, SOA, web services, or virtual environments
Experience with AWS and cloud-based architectures
Understanding of DevOps practices and workflows
Proficiency in Python and working knowledge of pip and microservices architecture
Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Git/GitLab for version control
Comfortable with collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, RocketChat
Desired Qualifications: Experience with Appian or other low-code platforms
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
