Are you detail-oriented, eager to learn about product data, and looking to gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Jr. Data Steward to join our team on a six-month contract basis. In this role, you'll contribute to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our product data within our client's enterprise systems. This is a fantastic chance to work cross-functionally and develop your skills in data governance and management.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation and adherence to data governance policies and procedures related to product information.
  • Support the maintenance of product data within AGILE PLM and ERP system.
  • Contribute to the execution of Product lifecycle management processes.
  • Participate in Change Analyst activities, including processing ECOs (Engineering Change Orders) and ECRs (Engineering Change Requests).
  • Help ensure compliance with GS1 guidelines plus for product data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product Development, Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality) to ensure data consistency.
  • Support initiatives focused on improving data accuracy and data quality.
  • Assist in gathering information for SOX and/or Quality audit requirements related to product data.
  • Learn and contribute to our Enterprise Data Management (EDM) strategies.
  • Provide support in maintaining data standards and documentation.
  • Utilize strong communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • 0-2 years of experience in a data-related role (internship experience is acceptable).
  • Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, ideally AGILE PLM.
  • Understanding of basic data governance principles.
  • Exposure to change management processes.
  • Familiarity with CPG manufacturing processes is a plus.
  • Exposure to ERP systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
