Journeyman Training and Development Specialist with Security Clearance

Position Overview:
We are seeking a Journeyman Training and Development Specialist to support mission-critical training initiatives at Eglin AFB. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of training programs that enhance workforce capabilities and ensure compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) standards. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive training plans, course materials, and instructional strategies. Conduct training needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and skill development opportunities. Facilitate classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training sessions for military and civilian personnel. Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics. Maintain accurate training records and documentation in accordance with DoD policies. Coordinate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment of training with mission objectives. Stay current with best practices and technologies in adult learning and instructional design. Required Qualifications:
Active Top Secret clearance (must be verifiable and current). Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or related field (equivalent experience may be considered). 3+ years of experience in training and development within a DoD or federal environment. Proficiency in instructional design software and Learning Management Systems (LMS). Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting U.S. Air Force training programs. Knowledge of ADDIE model or similar instructional design frameworks. Familiarity with AFMANs, DoD directives, and applicable training standards. Work Environment:
