Journeyman Software Engineer Job Category: Engineering Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: Secret Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Continental US Opportunity and Responsibilities for Journeyman Software Engineer on an agile development team:
• Supporting a test and integration effort.
• Work with end users, stakeholders, and teammates in a fast-paced environment.
• Support the creation of mission critical applications.
• Develop tools to deploy and troubleshooting the latest government furnished software and hardware components.
• Support OEM/Gov't debugging and RCA of reported issues.
• Use DevSecOps principles as part of integration and testing activities. Role requirements: 3-8 years for relevant work experience
• software development experience is required (python is preferred)
• familiarity with Linux is required
• Designing, developing, operating, and maintaining software, firmware components, and computing systems software
• Apply the appropriate software standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system life cycle to support the generation of multi-disciplinary solutions and products.
• Interfaces with customers, suppliers, application users and other technical and support personnel.
• Review and evaluate system performance against specification requirements. These areas of experience are favorable to have:

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
