PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION
We are seeking a skilled HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to join our team in Philadelphia/New Jersey. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
PRIMARY DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
&bull Install, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems, including air conditioning units, heating systems, and refrigeration equipment.
&bull Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance.
&bull Perform routine maintenance and inspections to prevent system failures and ensure compliance with safety standards.
&bull Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and installation requirements.
&bull Collaborate with other team members and contractors to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
&bull Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management.
&bull Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to provide high-quality service.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
&bull Minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC and refrigeration maintenance and repair.
&bull EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
&bull Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
&bull Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
&bull Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
&bull Strong communication and customer service skills.
&bull Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
