Position Description: Ennoble First is seeking an experienced Journeyman Cloud Engineer to support the FS2 Aero program. In this role, you will assist with the design, deployment, maintenance, and architecture of AWS-based systems that support mission-critical environments. This includes engineering secure solutions, validating compliance with security controls, and integrating cloud technologies to meet dynamic mission needs. You will work on a hybrid team focused on automation, cloud resilience, and scalable deployments.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AWS system architectures with emphasis on security and operational integrity

• Provide input on system requirements based on cybersecurity best practices and government guidelines

• nalyze cloud configurations and provide architectural recommendations

• Support Engineering Review Board evaluations and ensure architectural compliance

• Troubleshoot, triage, and resolve system issues; maintain high uptime and support tickets

• Lead cloud-based deployments, automation strategies, and testing/validation procedures

• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and cost metrics

• Work across development teams to move data and deploy collection services/tools

• Develop and maintain documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and VDDs

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 4+ years of relevant experience, or 6+ years of experience in lieu of a degree

• 4+ years of distributed systems and 3+ years of cloud-based systems implementation

• Strong knowledge of AWS technologies: EC2, S3, Lambda, PaaS (OpenShift), etc.

• Hands-on experience with GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Terraform, Python

• Familiarity with security tools such as ACAS, HP Fortify; cloud templates (CloudFormation)

• Knowledge of software/system lifecycle and DevSecOps practices

• Strong Windows and Linux systems administration experience

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task

• TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain CI Poly

Preferred Qualifications:

• WS certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, etc.)

• Experience with NGA environments and aeronautical data/mission sets

• Familiarity with IC cloud architectures and Analysis of Alternatives (AoA)

• DoD 8570 Certification Compliance (IAT Level 2/3)

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and native AWS cloud templating tools

Work Schedule:

• M/W/F: Remote

• Tuesday: St. Louis Office or NGA 2nd Street

• Thursday: O'Fallon, IL Office

• s Needed: NGA 2nd Street (Approx. 2 days/week based on tasking)

Pay Range: $85,000-$105,000
