Responsibilities PeopleTec is currently seeking a Joint Munitions Effectives Manual (JMEM) Training Specialist to support our team in multiple locations. The selected candidate will be a member of our dynamic team and will develop and maintain training materials and provide onsite instruction for the Joint Munitions Effectiveness Manual Weaponeering Software (JWS). Our team supports the Joint Technical Coordinating Group for Munitions Effectiveness (JTCG/ME) in its mission to provide a mechanism for inter-service efforts to improve the databases and analytical methodologies the Joint force uses to determine non-nuclear weapons effectiveness. JWS is a key component of this mission, as it is designed to support U.S. and allied military planners in selecting the most effective munitions and delivery tactics to achieve specific target effects. Its primary purpose is to provide a standardized, scientifically-based tool for weaponeering - the process of matching weapons to targets to produce a desired level of damage or effect. The successful candidate will be an adaptable, agile, experienced engineer who is a consummate team player capable of researching, analyzing, and engineering solutions to meet customer demand for flight testing tools and software. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess effective communication skills, and have experience with performance prediction, test planning, and test execution. Duties Include : Developing training products, documents, and electronic materials to include lesson plans, operational practice/sample problems, training tidbits, and training presentations, for Government approval Developing, maintaining, and/or updating Operational Sample/Practice Problems with the most current version of the JWS products Fulfill the requirements for instructing specific courses and be formally evaluated by a review board Providing technical support to global operational users through various forums Designing and conducting 3-5 day training events in the United States and overseas to familiarize operational users with the capabilities of the JWS Capturing user feedback and providing input to the development and sustainment of JWS Qualifications Required Skills/Experience : Previous experience as a certified instructor for the JTCG/ME Five (5) years of experience with the JTCG/ME products (e.g., JWS, DIEE) used for training and/or equivalent experience (Goodfellow AFB, Joint Targeting School (JTS), Combatant Command (CCMD)-qualified, weapons school, weapon/aircraft program offices) Sound oral communication and technical writing skills and the ability to clearly communicate technical approaches and findings to the team and the government customer Experience in developing formal courses of instruction (programs of instruction, learning objectives) for DoD audiences Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project) The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment Travel: Up to 30% Must be a U.S. Citizen An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment. Education Requirements : Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or scientific field of study from an accredited college or university and at least 5 years of experience with JTCG/ME products D esired Skills : Previous experience as a certified instructor in the Department of Defense Attendance at an Advanced Target Development (ATD) course Served in the applicable career field (Targeting, Weaponeering, Fire Support Coordination) Estimated Time to Hire: June 2025 Overview People First.
