The People's Science Collective (PSC) is looking for dedicated volunteers to join our team.
PSC is a grassroots organization connecting scientists, resisting anti-science agendas, and supporting impacted federal workers. We're creating a space for collaboration, advocacy, and action-and we need your help to make it happen.
Open Positions - Communications Volunteers: Oversee our messaging, social media, and public outreach efforts.
- Programming Volunteers: Develop and manage events, webinars, and initiatives to engage our community.
- Membership Volunteers: Build and support our network of scientists, advocates, and allies.
- Research Volunteers: Lead the creation of reports and newsletters documenting science policy changes and the impacts of anti-science policies.
What We're Looking For - A passion for defending science and advocating for the public good.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Experience in advocacy, communications, event planning, or related fields (depending on the role).
- A collaborative spirit and commitment to horizontal, non-hierarchical leadership.
- Availability to dedicate a few hours per month to PSC's mission.
