Join our team and lead our Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in Neurosurgery.
About the Role:
As the Lead APP, you'll play a vital role in optimizing our APP team's contribution to our Neurosurgery division. You'll focus on strategic planning, personnel management, and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Partner with Division Chair & Executive Director on divisional goals.
- Oversee APP fellowship, research, and QI projects.
- Participate in hospital-wide initiatives.
- Personnel Management:
- Conduct performance evaluations & provide mentorship.
- Manage hiring, onboarding, and training of new APPs.
- Address corrective actions as needed.
- Scheduling & Operations:
- Create APP schedules & track time off.
- Manage sick calls & ensure patient care coverage.
- Coordinate PA student placements.
- Education & Compliance:
- Facilitate APP education on billing & coding.
- Attend & contribute to division meetings.
