Job Control Technician Job Description: Country Intelligence Group is seeking a Full-Time Job Control Technician to support the Cyber
Support Squadron (CySS) by serving as a central point for job coordination and control across multiple
Production Work Centers (PWCs). The selected candidate will work closely with three other Job
Controllers to ensure effective distribution, tracking, and prioritization of technical changes and job
requests. This role involves close coordination with developmental and operational teams, including
Project and Configuration Managers, to maintain accurate system baselines and support operational
readiness. The Job Control Technician will report job and change status to customer leadership and the Communications Focal Point (CFP), contributing to an up-to-date Common Operational Picture (COP) for senior leaders. Tasks Performed:
• Acting as a Job Controller for the Cyber Support Squadron (CySS), working in coordination with three other squadron Job Controllers personnel.
• Distribution, tracking, and ensuring prioritization of all changes/jobs assigned to production work centers (PWCs) under their charge.
• Coordinating with developmental and operational teams (Project/Configuration Managers) to maintain baselines, supporting operational systems.
• Reporting the status of changes/jobs to customer leadership and to the Communications Focal Point (CFP).
• Use automated ticketing tools to assign or re-assign tasks/jobs between Production Work Centers (PWCs).
• Implementation of US Air Force job control procedures consistent with Technical Order (TO) 00-33A-1001.
• Assisting in PWCs and technicians with detailed information as needed.
• Providing updates to the CFP's common operational picture (COP) for senior leader updates.
• Establishing and executing job control procedures in support of customer goals and current DoD regulations. Expected Skills:
• Ability to manage, prioritize, and track multiple tasks or change requests across production work centers (PWCs) to ensure timely execution and delivery.
• Experience collaborating with project teams, configuration managers, and operational personnel to maintain system baselines and support mission-critical operations.
• Experience using automated tasking or ticketing tools to assign, reassign, and monitor jobs across teams or departments.
• Experience updating and maintaining a Common Operational Picture (COP) or similar situational awareness dashboards for senior leadership. Salary Range:
• $80,000-$90,000/Year Other Job Requirements:
