Job description: We need more a Jira developer with experience in both Server/Data Center and Cloud and has worked a migration to Cloud. Heavy involvement in ScriptRunner, JavaScript/TypeScript, Jira Expressions, and SIL would be important. This role involves working closely with various teams to understand their requirements and provide solutions that enhance productivity and workflow efficiency.
Key Responsibilities: - Configure and customize Jira projects, workflows, screens, and fields to meet business requirements.
- Expert in developing and maintaining custom Jira plugins and scripts using SIL Programming and Groovy scripting.
- Implement and manage Automation for Jira to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Integrate Jira with other tools and systems to streamline processes.
- Utilize Jira and Confluence REST APIs and webhooks for integrations and automation.
- Write SQL queries to query Jira tables in Postgres SQL.
- Experience with GitLab.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Jira configurations and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
• Maintain documentation for Jira configurations, customizations, and integrations.
• Stay updated with the latest Jira features and updates to leverage new functionalities.
• Execute JIRA and Confluence cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
• Worked on migration strategies and timelines, and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions.
• Perform data migration and validation to ensure data integrity and consistency post-migration.
• Provide training and support to users on new cloud features and functionalities.
• Implement and manage cloud-based solutions for Jira and Confluence to enhance scalability and performance.
• Ensure compliance with cloud security best practices and regulatory requirements
• Proven experience with Jira Service Management (JSM) administration, configuration, and migration, especially in cloud environments.

Preferred Skills: • Experience with other Atlassian tools (e.g., Confluence, Bitbucket).
• Experience with JIRA and Confluence cloud migration projects.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
