We have an opportunity for a JD Edwards E1 Functional Analyst to join our team. This position will solve functional issues, test solutions and provide support for software users.
This position is based at our corporate office which is centrally located at Rocky Point, overlooking the waters of Tampa Bay.
Responsibilities - Support E1 and related applications
- Proactively solve problems for production users and IT project teams
- Participate in all phases of the SDLC: requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and production/go live
- Collaborate on system architecture, design, best practices, and decisions
- Gather and develop functional requirements for reports, integrations, conversions and enhancements as they relate to E1 applications and supporting applications
- Analyze requirements and create reliable duration estimates
- Plan tasks and track progress against an integrated team project plan
- Communicate project status, task status, roadblocks, and critical matters to management promptly
- Prepare and maintain all application documentation to support development activities
Qualifications - B.S. degree in Computer Science, Accounting, or equivalent
- Demonstrated JD Edwards E1 functional experience in one or more of the following areas: Distribution, Procurement, CAM, Product Costing, Manufacturing Accounting, Sales and Inventory Accounting, Financial Management, GL, AR, AP, Supply Chain Management, Order to Cash, Vendor Master Data, and/or RMA
- Experience with E1 Version 9.0 or higher
- Knowledge of E1 system configuration standards
- Technical/functional leadership and communication skills with proven ability to collaborate with colleagues in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to gather and develop functional requirements for reports, integrations, conversions and enhancements as they relate to E1 applications and interfacing applications
- Aptitude for finding the root cause and solutions for a wide variety of JDE and supporting software issues
- Ability to partner with vendor support to assist in timely problem resolution
- Exposure to any the following areas will be considered a plus: Salesforce, DSI, Oracle CPQ, ATG e-Commerce, Vertex and Supply Services Applications (HLP, MPLAN, SDI, Supplier Portal)
