Java Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Support Engineer with 8+ years of experience, proficient in Spring Boot, microservices, and banking application knowledge. The ideal candidate will have strong support experience in the banking domain and possess excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Monitor and troubleshoot application issues in production.

Lead troubleshooting, analysis, and resolution of unexpected system behaviors impacting service quality.

Liaise with stakeholders (technical and business) for problem resolution.

Communicate issue/resolution status (written and verbal) to project team and management.

Perform minor production bug fixes.

Conduct disaster recovery and patch testing.

Handle data extraction, reporting, and audit activities.

Knowledge/Skills:

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Highly motivated, self-directed, and possess solid execution skills.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

Strong support experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.

Experience with Control-M, ServiceNow, and MQ.

Proficiency in SQL, relational databases, HTML, and ORM technologies such as JPA2 and Hibernate.

Highly flexible and adaptable to change.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
