Java Support Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Support Engineer with 8+ years of experience, proficient in Unix support with shell scripting, PL/SQL, and banking application knowledge. The ideal candidate will have strong support or development experience with MTS product knowledge and possess excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Support or development experience with MTS product knowledge

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Monitor and troubleshoot application issues in production.
Lead troubleshooting, analysis, and resolution of unexpected system behaviors impacting service quality.
Liaise with stakeholders (technical and business) for problem resolution.
Communicate issue/resolution status (written and verbal) to project team and management.
Perform minor production bug fixes.
Conduct disaster recovery and patch testing.
Handle data extraction, reporting, and audit activities.

Knowledge/Skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Highly motivated, self-directed, and possess solid execution skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:
Strong support experience in Unix and Oracle.
Experience with Control-M, ServiceNow, and MQ.
