Job Description
An employer is looking for a Java Staff Engineer in Bentonville, AR. This is a greenfield project that you will lead.
- Responsibilities will include:
o 70% design architecture work, navigating through workflows
o 10-15% program management, JIRA, scrum related content, anything to keep the project moving
o 10% code reviews
o 5-10% coordinating with testing teams
o Team size: 4-5 developers
o New API creations
o Buliding a lot of new microservices
o Setting up SOAP and Restful integrations
o Data modeling efforts, data mapping, maintaining data

Skills and Requirements
10+ years of backend Software Engineering experience
Enterprise level design and experience building systems
Experience leading projects
Java
Spring boot, Spring batch
No SQL data base experience, CosmosDB
Kafka
Understanding of Kubernetes Insurance domain knowledge null
