Salary: Competitive, based on experience (Average: £40,000 - £50,000)
Location: Whitefield, Manchester

The Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications usingJavaandKotlin. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain applications usingJavaandKotlin.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust software solutions.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code, following best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise code for better performance and reliability.
- Stay current with the latest technologies, frameworks, and trends in the Java/Kotlin ecosystem.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience withJavaandKotlindevelopment.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks and tools such asSpringandHibernate.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
- Experience withRESTful APIsandmicroservicesarchitecture.
- Knowledge of databases, bothrelational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)andNoSQL(e.g., MongoDB).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
- Familiarity with version control systems such asGitand CI/CD processes.
Desirable:
- Experience withcloud technologies(e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity withAndroid developmentusing Kotlin.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools likeDockerandKubernetes.
Target Salary:
- £40,000 - £50,000per annum (depending on experience)
