Our challenge
We are seeking a skilled Java/GenAI Developer with a strong background in developing robust applications and a familiarity with Generative AI technologies, especially tools like GitHub Copilot. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for coding and a keen interest in leveraging AI to enhance software development processes.
Additional Information
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Irving, TX is $100k - $120k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Utilize Generative AI tools, such as GitHub Copilot, to streamline coding tasks and improve efficiency.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in AI and software development.
- Document development processes, code changes, and software architecture.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Experience level 7+ years.
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, natural language processing (NLP), and generative AI.
- Experience with prompt development and fine-tuning large language models like GPT, Gemini, Langchain, and Llama.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with experience in AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
- Knowledge of MLOps tools for model deployment and monitoring.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) for model training and deployment.
