Job Purpose: We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with extensive experience in developing high-quality software solutions in enterprise environments. This role involves using Java technologies and frameworks to create robust, scalable, and efficient software systems. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative software solutions that align with business objectives.
Requirements - Develop and maintain high-quality software using Java and Java EE technologies.
- Implement and optimize applications using frameworks such as Spring and Microservices.
- Design and develop rich internet applications using React, AngularJS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies.
- Manage and deploy applications on web servers and application servers such as IBM WebSphere and Tomcat.
- Utilize integration and collaboration tools such as GIT and Subversion.
- Develop and consume web services using technologies like SOAP, RESTWS, and WSDL.
- Work with various database systems including Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, and other NoSQL databases.
- Implement messaging services using RabbitMQ and IBM MQ.
- Engage in cloud-based development with a focus on Azure.
- Apply Agile methodologies and participate in SCRUM sessions.
- Implement continuous integration and deployment using the DevOps toolchain.
Required Technical Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of Java development experience, including Java EE, Spring Framework, and Java database frameworks.
- Experience with rich internet applications, particularly React or AngularJS.
- Familiarity with web servers and application servers such as IBM WebSphere and Tomcat.
- Proficiency in developing and consuming web services.
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Demonstrated experience in cloud-based development, preferably Azure.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and deployment.
- Experience in full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
