Role name: Java Developer
Irving, TX Onsite Role Description: Application Development and Support:You will be working on java based software development projects, collaborating on the development of software applications, and obtaining and integrating end-user feedback.
• Consulting with internal stakeholders to determine the scope of software development projects/tasks.
• Collaborating with the software development team on application design and development.
• Developing software and overseeing the deployment of applications across platforms.
• Design and develop solutions to meet key business requirements
• Work closely with IT Managers and Architects to contribute to the overall architecture and design
• Provide user and technical support for production and non-production environments
• Performing diagnostic tests and debugging procedures.
• Working with offshore team and guiding them appropriately on technical and functional aspects, assign tasks to team members.
• Optimizing software by performing maintenance, updates, and upgrades.
• Documenting processes and maintaining software development records.
• Reporting status to internal/external stakeholders
• Contributing to project activities estimation, presentations, RFP, estimations
• Deployment automation Competencies: Advanced Java Concepts Essential Skills: Spring Boot, spring cloud , oracle SQL , kafka is must.
• Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, or similar.
• Java/j2ee certification preferred.
• A minimum of 6-8 years experience as a java/j2ee software developer.
• Sprint boot, spring cloud experience is must
• Should be experience with API development, batch processing, file handling
• Processing of large data volumes
• Current knowledge of java standards and specifications.
• Proficiency in java and/or compliant languages Python.
• Extensive experience in deploying software across a variety of platforms and operating systems especially Linux
• Linux scripting is very much required
• Experience working with of SQL (Oracle) is required
• Superb analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent with team, collaboration and communication skills.
• Great organizational and time management skills.
• Telecom domain knowledge is preferred
