Job Description:

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services.
Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems.
Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging.
Develop and maintain Java-based applications while ensuring high performance and excellence.
Mentor junior team members and review their code to ensure it meets the company's standards.
Participate in pairing and code reviews, sharing your knowledge and learning from your peers.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Implement SRE practices to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of applications and services.
Monitor and analyse system performance and implement improvements.
Respond to and resolve incidents to minimize downtime and impact on users.
Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement software solutions.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience as a Java Developer.
Strong knowledge of Java programming language and software development life cycle (SDLC).
Experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and RESTful services.
Experience with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices and tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
