Job Description
The qualified candidate will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that works in a rapid development environment. The qualified candidate should have experience with Java, Web Services, Cloud architectures, operations and application deployment, XML and WSDL knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/technical discipline
- 7+ years of software design, code and test experience
- Hold an active DoD Secret level clearance or higher
- Experience with Agile Development, notably Scaled Agile Framework
- Subject matter expertise in Cloud architectures, operations and application deployment
- Experience monitoring, troubleshooting and fixing complex systems, preferably in a 24/7 operational environment
- Excellent analytical skills coupled with a strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in Java
- Experience with Web Services, XML, WSDL
- Understanding and skills in software design and code, including Object Oriented Analysis & Design (OOAD) and SOA
- Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to be productive in a dynamic/collaborative environment
Preferred
- Experience with Software Architectures (e.g., Web Services)
- AWS Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer and/or SysOps Administrator certifications
- Security+ Certification
- Domain knowledge of Terraform
- Domain knowledge of Ansible scripting with AWS
- Familiarity with AWS GovCloud setting up a CI/CD pipeline
- Developing launch configurations for deployment into AWS GovCloud
- Experience with Cloud One integration
- Software Installation Development (InstallShield, InstallAnywhere)
- Experience with Software Systems Performance Analysis
- Experience with scripting and other languages (e.g., JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, JQuery, and/or PERL)
- Experience with database development tools and design (e.g., SQL Server)
- Experience with automated test tools
- Development tools and services (e.g., MS Visual Studio, Eclipse)
- User Interface development tools
- Configuration Management tools (e.g., Jira, Git, and/or Subversion)
