Skills: Java (Expert), RestAPI (Expert), AWS (Intermediate), Data Structure & Algorithms (Expert), System Design (Intermediate) Contract Type: W2 Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension or Conversion to FTE) Location: Redmond, WA & Sunnyvale, CA (Onsite) Pay Range: $50.00 - $58.00 Per Hour Job Summary: We are seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join our team, providing first-level support and development for all incoming production software application issues, especially with merchandising applications. The role involves developing monitoring solutions, troubleshooting/debugging, and implementing fixes primarily in Java. Successful candidates will work alongside development teams on Software projects, enhancing our software, automating support processes, and documenting our systems. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable, distributed systems for financial processing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and functionalities. Ensure the reliability, performance, and security of financial systems. Analyze and optimize systems for efficiency and scalability. Participate in code reviews, maintaining high code quality standards. Must-Have Skills: 5+ years of experience in Java Strong experience with data structures and algorithms. Experience in designing and developing distributed, multi-tiered systems. Experience with AWS technologies is preferred.
