Java Developer for a
Contract job with a client in
Pittsburgh, PA(Hybrid) . The ideal candidate must have strong Java skills and experience in application development. Responsibilities include writing efficient code and collaborating with teams.
Rate Range: $50/hour to $65/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Java Developer job responsibilities include: - Developing and maintaining Java applications.
- Writing efficient, reusable, and reliable code.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams on software design.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Ensuring code quality through testing and reviews.
Desired Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of Java development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
- Experience with RESTful API development.
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
