Vaco is hiring a Java Developer to join an innovative team in the hospitality industry undergoing a major digital transformation. This direct hire opportunity puts you at the forefront of modernizing platforms, owning backend services, and helping transition development fully in-house.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java (Kotlin is a plus)
- Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices
- Work in a Microsoft Azure cloud environment
- Assist in bringing development fully in-house from a third-party partner
- Collaborate across teams in a fast-moving, agile environment
What You Bring
- 2+ years of backend/app development (Java or Kotlin)
- Experience with Azure is required
- Familiarity with SQL, Git, and debugging
- Bonus: Knowledge of .NET and Apache Ignite
