Primary Skills: Java (Expert), JavaScript (Proficient), Data Structure and Algorithms (Expert), System Design (Proficient), RestAPI (Proficient) Contract Type: W2 Duration: 11 Months with possible extension Location: Bellevue, WA Pay Range: $60.00 - $64.00 Per Hour Job Summary: Join our Content Platform team as a Software Development Engineer, where you'll play a crucial role in supporting and developing our merchandising applications. Your work will directly impact our customers through the development of monitoring solutions, troubleshooting, and fixing bugs in our codebase, and enhancing our systems for better performance and reliability. This position is located onsite in Bellevue, WA, and offers a chance to work on significant Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects, with potential for conversion to full-time based on performance and business needs. Key Responsibilities: Develop monitoring solutions for production software applications. Troubleshoot and debug issues in our internally developed code across various languages including Perl, C/C , and Java. Perform SQL queries to improve system performance and feature metrics. Collaborate alongside development teams on Amazon Corporate and Divisional Software projects. Automate support processes and document system operations. Must-Have Skills: Proficiency in Java and JavaScript. Experience in data Structure and Algorithms. Experience in System Design. Industry Experience: Prior experience within the tech industry, specifically in software development roles. Former Amazon experience and experience with distributed systems are significant pluses.
