Key Responsibilities:
- System Design & Architecture: Architect and design scalable, secure, and high-performing backend systems. Drive technical decisions and ensure alignment with architectural standards.
- Backend Development: Write clean, efficient Java code and develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and supporting backend components using modern frameworks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with frontend engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Code Quality: Lead code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain high standards for code quality, security, and performance.
- Testing & Debugging: Build and maintain unit/integration tests. Identify and resolve bugs and system bottlenecks.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize system performance for speed, scalability, and reliability.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and concise technical documentation across projects.
- Tech Trends: Stay current with the latest industry best practices, tools, and trends in Java and backend development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java and its ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate).
- Hands-on experience in RESTful API development.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure preferred).
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Proficiency in Git and version control workflows.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
