Job Title: Java Backend Developer

Location: Providence, Rhode Island (ONSITE)

Duration: 12 +months

Responsibilities:

Develop high-quality, efficient, and maintainable server-side code using Java.
Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and testing.
Design and implement data storage solutions.
Create scalable, robust, and efficient systems.
Ensure the security and data protection of all applications.
Troubleshoot and debug application errors.
Write clean, readable, and reusable code.
Collaborate with team members to improve the system design.
Participate in code and design reviews to maintain code quality.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Java Backend Developer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Java, with a good understanding of its ecosystems.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
Familiarity with concepts of MVC, JDBC, and RESTful API development.
Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skill
