Are you a Java Developer ready to level up into the world of
cybersecurityJava and AWS experience who's curious (or experienced) about things like
WAFs, SSL/TLS, secure cloud design - and wants to make an impact on cyber defense.
This is a
hybrid role, so you'll join the team in our
Rockville, MD office twice a week (collaboration + coffee included).
? What You'll Be Doing:
- Developing and securing cloud-based web applications using Java (Spring Boot) and AWS
- Working on Web Application Firewall (AWS WAF) implementations and PKI/SSL Certificate Lifecycle Management
- Supporting secure architecture with AWS services (API Gateway, Lambda, CloudFront, S3, etc.)
- Collaborating across teams to build secure, scalable, and resilient systems
- Occasional support outside hours for critical items (rare but important)
? What We're Looking For:
- 5-10 years of hands-on Java development experience
- Strong AWS skills - especially around infrastructure, security, and automation
- Genuinely interested in cybersecurity and evolving your career in that direction
- Bonus points if you've worked with: CloudflareWAFPKISplunksecure coding, or S/MIME
