Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Architect with expertise in AWS cloud technologies who is both hands-on and experienced in designing scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Java, Microservices, AWS, and architectural best practices while being capable of writing high-quality code and leading the development process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable, distributed, and cloud-native applications using Java and AWS.
- Define and implement architectural patterns such as microservices, event-driven architecture, and serverless computing.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor development teams on best practices.
- Stay hands-on with coding, code reviews, and troubleshooting critical issues.
- Optimize application performance and ensure high availability, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product Management.
- Drive cloud adoption and modernization strategies using AWS services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, etc.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
- Conduct technical assessments, proof of concepts (POCs), and recommend technology solutions.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and regulatory compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 12+ years of experience in Java development and architecture.
- Expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, and Reactive Programming.
- Strong experience with AWS services such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudFormation, and IAM.
- Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration using Docker & Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Hands-on experience in SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, etc.).
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture using Kafka, SNS, or SQS.
- Strong understanding of security best practices in cloud-native applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
