Java Application Architect

Job Title: Application Architect
Location : Reston, Virginia(Need local) Hybrid

Duration: 6+ months with possible extension

No of open roles: 4

Supporting architecture of Single-Family loan applications

Will be creating MVA (Minimum Viable Architecture) - (Single Family based internal architecture documents) documents.

Need application development background in Core Java and need experience with Microservices based applications.

Leading strategy and roadmap of capabilities from architecture perspective

Building, designing and provide support on current application architecture - POCs, Architecture Design, Blueprinting etc

AWS Cloud transformation and AWS Cloud migration would be a plus.

80% applications moving to AWS Cloud - Need experience with AWS Cloud services and AWS Migration

Must have:

2-5+ Years of Application Architecture exp

Application Architecture - POCs, Architecture Design, Architecture Support, Blueprinting etc

Java Development

Java Frameworks - Springboot, Spring, Hibernate, Struts, Servlets, JSP, JSF, etc.

Microservices

AWS

AWS Services - EC2/S3/Lambda/SNS/SQS/etc.

Nice to have:

Banking/Mortgage/Fintech background would be a plus.

AWS Services - DMS (Database Migration Services) / Test Data Management

Cloud Migration - on-prem to AWS
