Job Title: Janitorial Technician
Location: Victor, NY
Summary: Join our dedicated facilities team as a Janitorial Maintenance Technician and help ensure a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment across our facility. In this role, you will perform essential janitorial and light maintenance tasks including cleaning, waste removal, and basic upkeep of both office and production areas.

Part-Time: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 1:30 PM (approximately 30 hours per week)
Full-Time Option: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, includes additional production-related tasks
Pay: $16.50 per Hour
Core Duties & Responsibilities:
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
- Empty trash daily in front office, break room, bathrooms, and production area; general offices weekly
- Service and restock restrooms regularly
- Clean and organize mop closet
- Dust office furniture weekly
- Monitor and replace light bulbs as needed
- Mix and prepare cleaning solutions per specifications
- Remove snow and apply salt at entrances and designated walkways as needed
- Inspect and maintain cleanliness of exterior flower beds and premises
- Clean warehouse floor weekly using a floor scrubber
- Clean a section of the production floor daily; ensure entire production floor is cleaned weekly
- Maintain and clean floor scrubber equipment; report maintenance needs
- Requisition cleaning supplies and equipment when needed
- Notify supervisor of building repair needs or safety concerns
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Prior janitorial or maintenance experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to assess and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of janitorial procedures, tools, and cleaning techniques
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to work flexible hours based on facility needs
- Comfortable operating floor scrubbers and hand tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
