Janitor

The successful Janitor will be a team member who provides clean affordable housing to the residents of the community. The Janitor will work with maintenance staff to coordinate a cleaning schedule. Villa St. Joseph is a beautiful community for Seniors that was previously the mother house of Sisters of St. Joseph and has now been converted to affordable apartments in Orange, CA. The property features on-site Resident Services, a community room, bike storage, beautifully landscaped grounds and laundry facilities. Pay: $20.00/hour Benefits: 15 days of earned PTO your first year, 12 company holidays + 2 floating holidays. Early close Fridays - 3 paid hours off early each Friday. Health, dental (adult and child orthodontia included), vision, and pet insurance. Employer paid life insurance. Quarterly bonus pay to on-site staff. 403b + match, paid volunteer time, and more. Duties: Cleans and maintains entry lobby, including cleaning of windows, doors, mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, etc., at least daily, and more if necessary, to maintain excellent entrance appeal. Cleans laundry room, community room, conference room, and management offices on a daily basis. Vacuums hallways on a daily basis. Cleans community bathrooms on a daily basis, more if necessary, to maintain in a sanitary manner. Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) years experience. This is a brief job description.
