Nesco Resource is searching for janitors for one of our long-term client in the Auburn Hills area. This is a 1st shift position operating Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm and pays $17/hr.
Duties:
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, or vacuuming.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Mix water, detergents, or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Service, clean, or supply restrooms.
- Set up, arrange, or remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, or scaffolding to prepare facilities for events, such as banquets or meetings.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications: - Demonstrated ability to read and follow cleaning procedures and check sheets to an acceptable degree.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and self-motivation.
- Previous cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Attention to detail
- Team-work oriented attitude
