Sales Manager
Jaguar Land Rover Cape Fear is eager to add an Finance Manager to our progressive team. We are a family-owned dealership with a hands-on owner that is focused on growing the business and expanding our reach. Proven track record is a requirement for this position.
Summary The sales manager oversees new- and used-vehicle inventory and sales.
Core Responsibilities Supervise, hire and train sales team, and acquire or order new and used vehicles.
Sales manager may be required to:
- Establish measurable performance goals using gross and net profits, unit sales, etc. for monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
- Inspire and motivate team to attain sales goals.
- Evaluate each team member's performance and productivity.
- Use merchandising and displays to promote sales of new and used vehicles.
- Develop sales campaigns, and monitor factory-sponsored programs.
- Review budgets, market and sales projections.
- Attend manager meetings.
- Coordinate activities between sales and other departments.
In addition, sales manager should:
- Possess basic math skills.
- Be capable of speaking with customers or employees; reading/understanding manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and safety regulations; and writing financial/marketing reports and other correspondence.
- Be professional and courteous in attitude, wardrobe and grooming.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree from four-year college/university, two to four years work-related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.
