Job Responsibilities
- Assess current processes / procedures to identify improvement opportunities.
- Produce and maintain an appropriate Capacity Plan reflecting current and future IT and business needs.
- Review and understand business and IT demands against current IT capabilities, providing forecasts for future requirements.
- Review and negotiate OLAs / SLAs, providing feedback on all capacity requirements.
- Monitor services and CI utilization patterns to ensure sufficient capacity is available when required.
- Review and define capacity-related thresholds, testing their configuration.
- Revise and update Capacity-related change predefined tasks.
- Review Capacity-related incidents, working with the PM manager to identify permanent solutions.
- Monitor, measure, and report on the effectiveness of the process to senior management.
- Undertake tuning activities to ensure the most efficient use of existing IT resources capacity.
- Ensure consistent execution of the process across the organization.
- Provide support in managing other ITSM processes when required.
Information Desired Skills & Experience
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Computer Science or related fields.
- ITIL 3 Intermediate certifications.
Required Professional Qualifications / Skills:
- Years of experience with Capacity Management.
- Proficient in using ITSM tools such as BMC-Remedy and Helix.
- Ability to balance multiple concurrent activities and manage time efficiently.
