We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Entry-Level IT Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will support employees in learning and using various technology platforms and tools. Your focus will be helping team members gain the knowledge and confidence to use technology effectively in their work and ensuring smooth communication between people and systems.

You will work under the guidance of the Director of IT and the Technology Systems Integrator and collaborate with the Design Technology team in the following areas:

Key Responsibilities:

Documentation:
  • Help create and maintain user guides, manuals, and video tutorials for company tools and systems.
  • Assist in keeping the IT Knowledge Base accurate, clear, and user-friendly.
Technical Support:
  • Provide first-level support for employee technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems.
  • Troubleshoot problems with local desktops, laptops, and peripherals such as printers and monitors.
  • Assist with imaging, setting up, and deploying workstations and virtual machines.
  • Perform regular maintenance, updates, and patches on computers and virtual machines.
  • Respond to support tickets in a timely and professional manner.
System Management:
  • Monitor system performance and ensure the security and reliability of hardware and virtual infrastructure.
  • Assist in managing inventory of IT assets and maintaining documentation of configurations and procedures.
  • Help manage user accounts, permissions, and access to shared resources.
Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows), and networking fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop tools and virtual machine environments.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
  • Good communication skills and a helpful, team-oriented attitude.
  • Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn and help others.
  • Ability to work well with people at different skill levels and backgrounds.
