Genesis10 is currently seeking an IT Testing Coordinator for a 6 month contract role with our client in Minneapolis, MN.
This role is hybrid-onsite 2-3 days per week.Summary:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Information Technology (IT) Testing Coordinator with 1-3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for organizing, managing, and overseeing software and/or hardware testing activities to ensure the highest quality of our products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage testing schedules and activities across multiple projects.
- Provide support to SMEs on the creation of test cases and test suites.
- Ensure proper test documentation, including test case creation, test execution results, and defect tracking.
- Monitor and follow-up on testing progress and defect resolution.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
- Prepare comprehensive test reports and documentation.
- Assist in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Train and mentor testing resources on testing procedures and best practices.
- Provide training and guidance on testing best practices to team members and business users.
- Provide training and guidance on testing tool use to team members and business users.
- This position follows a hybrid work schedule and requires onsite presence 2-3 days per week.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Familiarity with one or more testing tools and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Tricentis qTest.
- Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Compensation:
Hourly W2 pay rate $45.00-55.00/Hr.
We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
