Summary: Responsible for providing support for technology based solutions both locally and remotely. Expectation of feeling comfortable and confident working in a team environment and for upholding Zimmer Biomet's Corporate Policy. Expectation to have a customer first and results oriented mindset.
Principal duties & responsibilities: - Provide direct customer support for Zimmer Biomet IT assets
- Execute and help define IT processes and standards
- Enforce global/local security policies
- Fully document IT support issues and their resolution for increased team efficiency in meeting customer needs
- Assist other IT staff and teams in various IT projects, as needed
Expected areas of competence: - Ability to work successfully within a team and build effective working relationships
- Customer-first and results orientation; acts with a sense of urgency to resolve internal customer IT issues and delivers results in an efficient and timely manner
- Strong understanding of end-user IT technology; basic understanding of networking technology preferred
- Microsoft 10 and 11, Dell Precision, Dell Latitude, ServiceNow
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written/verbal)
- Analytical and critical thinking skills
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize work effectively
- Has a winning attitude and instills a passion for winning with other team members, an attitude which is demonstrated by a "can do" approach
Education/Experience Requirements - High School diploma required; bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
- Technical IT certifications preferred
- Licenses/Certifications - Preferred: A+ Certification, Network+, MCP, MCSA, and MCSE.
- 1-3 years of experience in computer maintenance and support or equivalent combination of education and experience
Travel Requirements Shift Information - Second shift
- Timing of 3pm - 12am EST M-F
