The IT Technician is responsible for providing technical support and managing the systems at the Mark One office as well as in the field. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to prioritize the user experience and communicate clearly, courteously, and effectively across a diverse audience. They should manage time and priorities effectively, be adept at multi-tasking, and be detail oriented. Further, they should demonstrate a commitment to ongoing skill development, take the initiative to identify and resolve issues, and strive for continuous improvement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all technology-related issues affecting employees and the company
- Manage employee logins, approvals, and accesses
- Identify and resolve POS hardware issues, including coordinating replacement equipment and ensuring proper installation
- Create and maintain documentation for support processes and standard operating procedures.
• Proactively monitor and administer the network, workstation operating systems, security system, safety, backups, and servers related to the systems
- Assemble, disassemble, repair, install, and de-install computers, cell phones, and related equipment approved for use by the corporate office
- Supervise and train employees in the use of the systems to ensure compliance with pre-defined and set company policies
- Maintain accurate inventories of equipment and maintain an organized, safe and clean work area
Basic Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (or equivalent combination of education/experience)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen
- Experience in the construction industry strongly preferred
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to bend, stretch, and twist
- Able to stand or sit for long periods of time
This is a full-time, hourly position. Core schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, 40+ hours per week. This position may require, from time to time, working outside of regular business hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate system upgrades and maintenance.
