IT Systems Specialist
Salary: £55,273.25 per annum
Location: Wythenshawe, Manchester
Hours of work: 35 per week
The Vacancy
Due to an expansion of the ICT team, we have a brilliant new opportunity for an ICT Systems Specialist to join us.
Wythenshawe Community Housing Group (WCHG) is on a transformational journey to become a smarter business with significant investment in technology to ensure our customers and colleagues get the systems that suit their needs.
This role will be key to ensuring business systems, both new and existing, are utilized to their fullest potential. You will be the "go-to" person for application support & technical queries. Extensive experience working with housing-specific systems such as the following would be beneficial:
- Orchard/HMS/Aareon/Civica including system migrations and integrations
- Salesforce
- Asset management software (Promaster/Pimms/Keystone)
- Repairs software/contractor/mobile working software (Accuserv/1st Touch)
Main Responsibilities
- Interpret business requirements and translate them into technical enhancements for existing systems.
- Provide expert support for incidents and requests related to core business systems.
- Maintain and optimize business systems, proactively identifying areas for improvement or enhancement.
- Troubleshoot problems related to business systems and design solutions as needed.
- Collaborate with the Innovation team to ensure new digital system implementations align with business needs, customer demand, and technology standards, providing support and remedial actions as necessary.
- Work with the ICT Training Specialist to design and maintain technical documentation.
- Coordinate with service managers to understand operational demands and ensure systems meet these needs.
Key Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Professional qualifications or relevant demonstrable experience.
- ITIL 3 or 4 certification.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and certifications.
- Strong experience in Systems Analysis within a Digital Services and/or ICT environment, including process improvements.
- Extensive experience with housing systems such as Orchard Housing, CRM, asset management, repairs software, contractor/mobile working software; Salesforce experience is beneficial.
