IT Systems Engineer

The Core Systems department is looking to hire aWindows System Administrator/Engineer to be an integral part of the CoreSystems Team. An eligible candidate needs to be analytical, self-motivated andskilled at working with other IT teams and business partners to provide secure andsupportable solutions. The Windows Systems Administrator will strengthen andmaintain core infrastructure services and systems for the organization whichincludes Domain services, Windows Servers, Exchange, File Servers, and ActiveDirectory.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Support Windows Servers operations and troubleshooting
  • Support Windows file Servers creation, permissions, troubleshooting.
  • Support DNS/DHCP/Active Directory, Exchange online/OnPrem, Radius server, Print servers, Group policies, SOX Compliance, and Okta platforms
  • Domain Controller creations/migration/replace, administration/maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Create, maintain, and troubleshoot Active Directory trusts between AD domain
  • Collaborate with multiple IT teams to complete IT projects (Security, Infrastructure, etc)
  • Strong project management skills
  • Gather project requirements from business partners and research solutions
  • Maintain documentation and processes to provide tools support teams require
  • Occasional travel to MACOM sites
Job Qualifications
  • Due to ITAR regulations, only candidates who are U.S. Persons(U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, or individualsgranted asylum or refugee status) will be considered for this position.
  • 8+ years of related IT experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as with multiple teams
  • Ability to use critical thinking and experience to identify, assess and provide solutions to unexpected technical issues
  • Ability and experience tracking projects, tasks, tickets and documentation within helpdesk platform
  • Experience supporting and maintaining Hypervisor platforms (VMWare, Hyper-V, etc)
  • Experience supporting SSO and MFA platforms (Azure)
  • Hands-on experience installing server room related hardware (servers, switches, storage)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic
Additional Preferred Skills
  • Certifications in relevant technologies
  • Experience working within the Semiconductor Industry
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Powershell, Python, etc)
