Job Summary:
We need a talented Systems Engineer to join our Escalation Team. The role requires high touch customer service skills and highly accurate responses to our Support teams and Customers. You will be asked to provide technical assistance and project support for our Managed computer networks, their operating systems, applications and end points. On a daily basis, you will need to run diagnostic applications, isolate problems and implement solutions to prevent reoccurrence, in addition to involvement with proactive system replacements and configurations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsively receive Escalations from our collective internal teams and indirectly Customers.
  • Resolve and communicate high level issues for Windows, MacOS and nix systems (including VMware).
  • Experience designing, managing and implementing technical projects and solutions.
  • Support Active Directory on premise and cloud environments with an ability to script as needed, PowerShell and SQL preferred.
  • Manage Storage hardware and it's connectivity.
  • Diagnose and correct networking and security issues including LAN, WAN and VPN connectivity.
  • Communicate with customers as required: keeping them informed of progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate through direct communication, ticket notes and presentations.
  • Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities.
  • Interaction and management of 3rd party vendors for escalations on hardware and software.
  • Key involvement with the discovery, design, configuration and installation network and system solutions.
  • Management of the HonorBuilt ServiceNow platform and partner relationship.
  • Service awareness of HonorBuilt's key IT services for which support is being provided.
Candidate Requirements include:
  • Exemplary ownership and troubleshooting of problems and issues.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting an Active Directory environment.
  • ServiceNow Administration Certification.
  • ITIL, Microsoft or CompTIA technical certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Travel may be required, requires attending an HonorBuilt facility up to 2 days a week
  • Active participation in our emergency 24/7 response on-call system.
  • A successful background check, drug screening and technical interview.
