Position Summary At Airbus U.S., we value providing superior customer service and are committed to the successful operation of our information technology systems. We are seeking a qualified Systems Engineer who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to assess technical requirements and develop integrated solutions that align with the business objectives. Key responsibilities include configuring and managing the companies Microsoft 365 services: Exchange Online, Intune, Purview, and Defender. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for maintaining the company's virtual desktop solution Citrix. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a deep understanding of system engineering principles to support and enhance the organization's technological framework.
Responsibilities - Ensure compliance with data protection and retention policies.
- Administer Exchange Online for email security, policies, and configurations.
- Manage Intune for endpoint security, compliance, and device management.
- Oversee Purview for data governance and compliance strategies.
- Implement security policies and threat detection with Microsoft Defender.
- Configure and manage Windows Autopilot for seamless device provisioning.
- Automate device enrollment and configuration through Intune MDM/MAM.
- Ensure a secure and compliant device lifecycle management process.
- Maintain and support Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, and NetScaler ADC.
- Monitor Citrix performance and troubleshoot user and system issues.
- Manage application publishing and optimize virtual desktop environments.
- Administer Active Directory, including group policies, authentication, and identity security.
- Maintain Windows Servers, applying patches, security updates, and performance optimizations.
- Manage domain services and ensure high availability.
- Implement and enforce security best practices across IT infrastructure.
- Configure MFA, Conditional Access, Defender policies, and compliance settings.
- Perform regular security audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide Level 2/3 support for system-related incidents.
- Maintain clear documentation of system configurations, policies, and troubleshooting steps.
- Assist in IT projects, including migrations, upgrades, and integrations.
QualificationsEducation: - Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security bachelor's degree OR Equivalent Experience
- Minimum of 5 years prior experience working in a related field or position
Certification(s) (preferred not required): - CompTIA Network+, Security+, Server+
- Microsoft Certified: Solutions Expert
Experience: - 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or similar role.
- Microsoft 365 experience, including Exchange Online, Intune, Autopilot, Purview, and Defender.
- Experience managing Windows Autopilot and device lifecycle automation.
- Expertise in Citrix environments, including Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops, Citrix Cloud, and NetScaler ADC.
- Proficiency in Active Directory, Windows Server administration, and PowerShell scripting.
Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities in enterprise IT environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, including Exchange Online, Intune, Purview, and Defender.
- Hands-on experience managing Windows Autopilot for device provisioning and deployment.
- Strong knowledge of Citrix environments, including virtualization, application delivery, and troubleshooting.
- Experience administering Active Directory (AD), Group Policy, and identity management.
- Strong scripting skills with PowerShell to automate administrative tasks.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with teams, and provide clear documentation.
- Strong understanding of IT security principles, compliance, and best practices.
