FWI is building a team to modernize the OHSS report production line by supporting IT projects, implementing report automation strategies, and developing standard operating procedures to expand the capabilities and capacity of DHS's data statistics services. As an IT Systems Analyst, you will support the transformation of OHSS's reporting systems by implementing technical solutions for report automation, assisting with technology adoption, and documenting standardized procedures that ensure efficient and timely delivery of statistical information to government stakeholders. Position is contingent upon successful contract award Work Schedule and Location: On-Site: This full-time on-site position will work Monday through Friday,8:30am to 5pm in Washington, DC with a potential hybrid situation. Responsibilities Support the modernization of OHSS report production systems and processes Assist with report management, automation strategies, and technology adoption Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) based on federal government best practices Identify and resolve problems in current reporting processes Implement quality assurance measures for data management and reporting Research industry best practices for statistical report automation Work collaboratively with government stakeholders to understand and implement requirements Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required Minimum 1 year of experience as an IT Systems Analyst or similar role, with demonstrated expertise in analyzing, designing, and implementing technology solutions Proficiency in programming languages including Python and Java Experience developing and maintaining web interfaces utilizing modern frameworks and technologies (e.g., React, Angular, or similar) Strong knowledge and hands-on experience working with PostgreSQL databases, including database modeling, SQL querying, performance tuning, and data migration Desired: Master's degree Experience gathering and documenting system requirements, creating system specifications, and performing impact analyses Familiarity with report automation methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) Excellent communication and analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to liaise effectively between business stakeholders and technical teams FWI is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
