THE POSITION IT Systems Analyst II, Continental Tire The Americas, LLC, Sumter, SC: Analyze data and application issues to develop and implement short- and long-term solutions for all tire manufacturing plants in the Americas. Test and steer implementation of patches in cooperation with Central second-level support. Coordinate with Product Owner Team and Support Team Members. Ensure product quality and KPI fulfilment. Review and approve Process Improvement Change Requests and track them to delivery. Create Product Roadmap in alignment with Digitalization Portfolio and own the Product Backlog. Support integration planning and review. Create and maintain a user and support community and conduct regular open calls for stakeholders to share news, developments and next steps of the Product Roadmap. Collect input from the business stakeholders regarding needs and priorities and run global Business Acceptance Testing. Participate in global and regional Key User workshops and trainings in regional plant locations or in Central. Assure Knowledge Transfer to relevant user and support communities/teams. Guide local Key Users for system implementation and usage. Telecommuting permitted up to 40%. Required to support local sites outside normal working hours when needed to resolve major issues (average of 1 day per month). Full time employment, Monday Friday, 40 hours per week. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of related work experience. Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following: Manufacturing processes, including experience in specification and recipe systems; Business Intelligence database and reporting platform(s), such as Power BI reports; and Contributing to cross-functional, global business systems implementation(s). Must have 1 year of experience in Manufacturing Execution System (MES) technology, with hands-on experience in machine integration and data/message systems. Domestic and international travel required up to 10%. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
