This position includes Shift Work: Day Shift Monday - Friday Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IT Systems Administrator to provide comprehensive IT support, including implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems across multiple site locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in system administration, network configuration, user support, and IT operations, ensuring smooth and efficient performance for local and off-site facilities The Level 2 IT System Administrator shall possess the following capabilities: System Implementation, Troubleshooting, & Maintenance: Provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems. Manage the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems to optimize performance. Perform system capacity analysis, resource utilization optimization, and system performance enhancements. Provide in-depth experience in troubleshooting IT systems and delivering detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets. Help Desk & Technical Support: Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution of issues. Provide assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems. Support IT systems, including daily operations, monitoring, and troubleshooting of client/server/storage/network devices and mobile devices. Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers. Provide support for dispatch system and hardware problems, ensuring continued involvement in the resolution process. Hardware Deployment & Replacement: Initiate and complete the replacement of phones and thin clients across multiple site locations. Manage the imaging, deployment, replacement, and troubleshooting of computer systems and phones across different networks. System Administration & Network Management: Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, including installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of system integrity. Implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Perform system administration tasks, including creating and deleting computer accounts in Active Directory (AD), assigning and updating IP addresses within DHCP, and managing system entries in SCCM during deployments and workstation replacements. Conduct network surveys prior to equipment installation across multiple networks. Technical Support & Configuration: Complete the configuration and installation of Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems. Provide training support to personnel during scheduled deployments. Inventory & Compliance Management: Provide updates to ISSOs and property managers regarding managed equipment assignments and transfers. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers and project managers to ensure task accuracy and completeness. Qualifications: Ten (10) years' experience as a System Administrator (SA) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. One (1) year of experience in Enterprise IT systems and projects, managing and performing integration operations and maintenance activities on multiple system domains of various security classification levels and diverse user bases concurrently. Experience in system administration, network configuration, and hardware deployment. Proficiency in Active Directory (AD), DHCP, and SCCM. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, ensuring stability and security. Experience optimizing system operations, analyzing system capacity, and planning for future needs. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Experience providing IT training to end-users. This role requires a proactive and adaptable IT professional capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently while ensuring seamless IT operations. Certifications Required: Security+ Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph Pay Range: 105,000-150,000 The RealmOne pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
