Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an IT Support Technician to join one of our clients in Juneau, AK to help support multiple projects some to include maintaining first tier support of internal employees to solve incidents and to troubleshoot in order to maximize incident avoidance.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Daily monitoring of help desk, MS Exchange and Office 365

Manage daily monitoring of the ticket queue, MS Exchange, MS 365, preventative maintenance including wire management, testing, labeling, routine software upgrades, deletions, and modifications

Provide basic support and troubleshooting to include:

o Password resets

o Printer configurations

o Break/fix instructions

o Ticket routing and escalation to Level 2 and Level 3 support

Compensation:

$31.25/hr to $48.07/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

Associates degree or higher in Computer Science or related field, equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree is acceptable

2-3 years of IT Support experience within an Enterprise environment

Experience supporting 100 or more users (on-site and remote users)

Experience using IT Service Management tools (i.e., ZenDesk, ServiceNow, etc.)

Experience supporting Windows 10/11 / MS 365 Applications / MS Servers

Experience supporting iPads / Tablets / Laptops / Desktops / Mobile Phones / Time Clocks

Experience imaging and deploying laptops

Ability to pass a background check A+ Certification

Net+ Certification

Bachelors Degree

Certs in Microsoft/Azure null
