Job Description

ROLE SUMMARY

The IT Support Technician will be the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance over the phone or through tickets. This role involves answering queries on basic technical issues and offering advice to solve them. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform remote troubleshooting.

This is a full-time, in-office, nonexempt role, being paid $18 per hour.

This is an early morning position with working hours from 6am to 2pm. The employee will be expected to start the day early to support business operations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Respond to support calls and emails promptly and professionally.
  • Escalate tickets and calls to appropriate senior staff when necessary.
  • Provide login support and assist users with password resets and account unlocks.
  • Guide users through basic IT support tasks
  • Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all SLAs
  • Stay current with system information, changes, and updates.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to provide step by step technical help, both written and verbal
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft systems
  • Preferred: Previous IT experience
